Description


Chipton-Ross is seeking a Material Coordinator for a contract opportunity in Calumet City, IL.

This position is 100% onsite.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Indirect Material Purchasing - Office/breakroom supplies, operating materials, PPE, uniforms, and other items as identified

Procedures/Paperwork - support procedure changes, oversee file structure and adherence to Records Retention program

Purchasing of raw materials

Other duties as identified

REQUIREMENTS:
Must be detailed oriented and able to multitask in a fast paced environment

Strong written and verbal communication skills needed, strong math skills

Experience working with SAP (or other ERP) a plus

Knowledge of safe work practices, OSHA, DOT and Environmental rules and regulation a plus

Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools

Experience in Union environment a plus

EDUCATION:
Accredited High School diploma or GED required

SHIFT:
Full-Time
1st Shift

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
