- Chipton-Ross is seeking a Manufacturing Technician 2 for a contract opportunity in Bedford, MA.
Perform duties within the corporate EH&S Standards and place proper emphasis on safety and quality. Operate various process equipment including but not limited to peristaltic pump, 500L tank with agitator, pH meter, analytical scale, ovens according to written SOP's and UOP's, chemical batch manufacturing process. Performs various formulation and packaging activities in accordance with SOP and UOP's to carry out chemical formulation processes and finished product discharges. Maintain batch and equipment records per department's ISO13485 standards and Good Documentation practices with a high focus on quality. Work with the team on 5S and continuous improvement activities within the work center including cleaning activities in areas as needed. Manufacture according to the provided schedule. Take direction from Site Supervisor regarding daily duties. Close out Work Orders in SAP and submit for review. Communicates with supervisor of any barriers. Works optimally with a diverse cross-functional team. Shows initiative to take on other duties as available.
2+ years or comparable experience with formulation, biochemistry, or pharmaceutical manufacturing required. Experience in cGMP environment, and SAP is desirable. Proficient in oral and written communication skills are required. Experience in Trackwise or equivalent quality management systems preferred Experience in document control systems preferred.
Accredited High School Diploma/GED
Associates in chemistry, pharmaceutical, biochemistry or equivalent preferred
Shift Hours: 8-4:30am
Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
