Description


Chipton-Ross is seeking a Telecom Business Administrator for an opportunity in Newport News, VA.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provides support to the material planning and control function. Prepares and monitors material requisitions and material schedules with production schedules. Maintains engineering specifications and production schedules and plans material movement within purchasing, warehouse and production. Creates and generates reports on material plans and schedules. Uses material requirements planning (MRP) systems. Ensuring that recurring non-PO invoices are submitted to AP for payment, analyze invoices for accuracy, track payment history using spreadsheets. Secure quotes, approvals and project manage order/disconnect process of all broadband and switched/dedicated data services. Maintain circuit database to match all installed circuits.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
High School and 2 years additional education and/or experience
• Basic understand of telecommunications and telecommunication terms required.
• Experience managing day to day responsibilities of billing and invoices for various vendors
• At least one year working in IT support or Telecommunications
• Experience with Microsoft Excel and Word. MS Access and SQL preferred.
• Excellent multi-tasking and time management skills
• Experience analyzing invoices for accuracy and in accordance with services rendered


EDUCATION:
High school diploma or equivalent.
School must be accredited.

HOURS:
7:30am to 4:00pm
**POTENTIAL HYBRID POSITION... 20% off site

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
