Chipton-Ross is seeking an Electrical Technician IV for a contract opportunity in Orlando, FL.
This position is 100% onsite.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
The position is a hands-on Aerospace-Engineering hardware-focused Electronics Fabrication technician located within the PDE Directorate.
Troubleshooting test sets, build and development of test boxes Tasks include assembly builds, cable / harness fabrication, surface mount and thru-hole soldering, test box layout (development. Candidate will support multiple missile and fire control programs.
REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum6-10 years experienced Electronics Technician qualified and trained to support electrical/mechanical fabrication and development.
Ability to read Assembly drawings and electrical schematics.
Capable of following written and oral instructions from engineering drawings and other inputs.
Candidate must be able to pass LM provided solder and harness fabrication training.
Candidate must have prior surface mount soldering experience.
Experience with cable/harness fabrication, manual soldering (SMT and Thru-Hole), test box layout (including drilling/punching boxes to accept connectors, test points, etc..
Knowledge and use of basic test equipment such as multimeters as well as basic AC/DC circuitry is required.
Experience with CCAs, subassemblies, assemblies, test boxes and off-site testing in a high paced interactive environment

Accredited HSD/GED
SHIFT:
Full-Time
4/10 work schedule
Able to work flex schedule, overtime, weekends, etc.
Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
