Chipton-Ross is seeking a Software Engineer IV for a contract opportunity in Grand Prairie, TX.
This position is 100% onsite.
Client is looking for an experienced Software Engineer to develop continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines for a variety of product development teams using Development / Security / Operations (DevSecOps) methodologies and tools. Ideally the candidate will have a background that includes embedded C++ development as most of the pipelines will process C++ code for embedded systems. As the candidate matures, they will assist the product development teams in refining and customizing the pipelines for optimal use in secure environments. The best candidate will be well versed in CI/CD tools and security techniques. For this first assignment, the candidate will work in a team with both technical and career leaders.
C++ 11 or later
DevSecOps methodologies and technologies
CI/CD software development pipelines - implementing and configuring
Container management software such as Docker, Kubernetes or OpenShift
Agile Software Development methodologies
Amazon Web Services (AWS)
Automated metric collection/process
C/C++ multi-threaded development
Embedded real-time C++ software development on embedded real-time operating system (RTOS)
Git and/or GitLab
Terraform / Ansible
Web App Development
Accredited Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or other related field with significant software development experience.
4/10 work schedule
