- Chipton-Ross is seeking a Financial Analyst in King of Prussia, PA.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Monthly Reporting
Develop and prepare monthly reporting metrics for North America, including dashboards and analyses.
Coordinate and optimize the process for collecting and presenting key financial and business indicators for monthly reporting and analysis, including the monthly preparation of the North America Forecast as reported in SAP and submitted to the Global finance team.
Work with Finance & Strategy Director, BU accountant and Controller's group to facilitate an orderly monthly close process Liaison with global financial controllers to ensure consistency in worldwide results and forecasts.
Provide daily/weekly updates as needed throughout the month to regional and global teams on the estimate of the current month's volumes, sales, and variable margin.
Financial Support and Ad-hoc Analysis
Primary contact for North America Business Directors & Market Managers and his/her organizations for requested ad-hoc and management analysis including but not limited to Stage Gate Project analyses (NPV/IRR/Payback, etc.), pricing analyses, etc.
Provide context, analysis and narrative in addition to financial data. Be a business partner through frequent interactions with the organization leader and functional heads.
Influence and improve business decisions by providing financial analysis and bringing new tools and techniques.
Analyze all cost/performance measures for manufacturing sites; review yields and fixed costs and assist in leading productivity improvement programs.
Serve as the SAP, BW, PowerBI, and Picasso expert resource for reporting and information generation.
Contributions to Special Projects such as: SAP testing for new programs/reports, SAP implementation of new processes, new forecast processes, developing business processes to meet business and accounting requirements, rebate process analysis, etc.
Maintain and update inter-company transfer pricing as needed.
Annual Budget and Strategic Plan Development Formulate annual budget and five-year strategic plan, with detailed sales and expense forecasts for the North America Business.
Ensure information is consistent with worldwide and local reporting needs.
Coordinate activities with Corporate organization to ensure input meets appropriate guidelines Organize cost center structures to facility cost tracking and assist managers in controlling costs under their responsibilities.
Lead process for inputting budget information into SAP accurately.
Proactively provide reconciliations to explain variances.
Context
The Analyst works directly with multiple levels in the organization as well as across business and support units. The job requires that the Analyst be flexible and able to negotiate priorities.
Many components of this job are time critical, particularly during the first 8-10 days of the month to meet all reporting needs.
Special project requests occur routinely that impact how the Business is managed and must be carried out with complete neutrality and with sufficient detail to ensure the best decision for the company.
Supports the site HES policy and complies with all regulatory and internal requirements Participates in HES activities provided by site management and (e.g., Behavioral Base Safety, SafeStart, etc.) Supports and promotes the reporting of all health, safety, environmental, near-miss, accident or injury incidents
REQUIRED EXPEIRENCE:
4 years' experience in finance/accounting
(in a manufacturing environment preferred):
Operations/plant accounting with cost accounting experience/knowledge a plus.
Experience in data analysis, interpretation, and clarity in presentation of conclusions.
Strong knowledge of Profit and loss analysis and cost accounting.
Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, SharePoint, PowerPoint, Word.
Proficiency in SAP, SAP BW, and Microsoft PowerBI in a manufacturing environment preferred.
Experience navigating an ERP and reporting system, developing queries to run financial reports and extracting data to analyze for business results and trends.
EDUCATION:
Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, (or other technical field with demonstrated equivalent work experience) required. Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
