Description


Chipton-Ross is seeking one Maintenance Technician 3 for a contract opportunity in Ronkonkoma, NY.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Performs repairs and maintenance in plant or office facilities, or on machines and equipment. Typically performs work in one or more of the maintenance trades: plumbing, painting, machine and equipment repair, electrical, and welding. Conducts routine, periodic, or special inspections to determine repair and maintenance work necessary to prevent breakdowns of facilities, machinery, and equipment. Uses hand and power tools. Tests, inspects, troubleshoots, and repairs machines and equipment. Uses blueprints, sketches, layouts, wiring diagrams, drawings, and specifications.


REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Will require work in all weather conditions, as needed for job function (indoors/outdoors year-round)


EDUCATION:
High school diploma or equivalent/GED is required.
School must be accredited.

HOURS:
9/80 workweek. 100% On-Site.

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
