Description


Chipton-Ross is seeking a Facilities Technician 2 for a contract opportunity in Redmond, WA.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
50% - Troubleshoot, repair and/or maintain a variety of machinery and shop equipment. Conduct general building and grounds maintenance. Install, repair and/or maintain electrical and plumbing systems or equipment. Perform carpentry and painting tasks. Assist with moving and setting-up office spaces, meeting rooms and special events.
50% - SECONDARY FUNCTIONS: Conduct inspections and make recommendations to supervisor on modifications to equipment. Report issues and out of control conditions to supervisor/management. Evaluate and complete request for repairs. Maintain records as required. Other duties as assigned.


DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Forklift certification or experience. General trades or repair experience.

EDUCATION:
High School Diploma or GED

SHIFT:
Day shift position: 6am - 3pm, Monday through Friday, 40 hours Swing Shift position: Noon - 9pm, Monday through Friday, 40 hours Will need 1 of each.

MISCELLANEOUS:
Applicants responding to this position will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements by currently possessing the ability to view classified government information.



Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
