Chipton-Ross is seeking an Engineer Digital 2 for a contract opportunity in Azusa, CA.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Designs, develops, modifies and evaluates digital electronic parts, components or integrated circuitry for digital electronic equipment and other hardware systems. Determines design approaches and parameters. Analyzes equipment to establish operating data, conducts experimental tests, and evaluates results. Selects components and equipment based on analysis of specifications and reliability. May also review vendor capability to support product development.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
(Principal level 3)
Bachelor's degree in electrical, electronics, computer engineering, or related STEM degree & 5 years of related engineering experience, OR a Master's Degree in electrical, electronics, computer engineering, or related STEM degree & 3 years of related engineering experience
Experience with Field Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGAs)
For Sr. Principal Engineer (Level 4)
Bachelor's degree in electrical, electronics, computer engineering, or related STEM degree & 9 years of related engineering experience, OR a Master's Degree in electrical, electronics, computer engineering, or related STEM degree & 7 years of related engineering experience
Experience with Field Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGAs)
PREFERRED:
Master's degree in electrical, electronics, computer engineering, or related specialty (Digital signal processing, VLSI, etc)
Experience with multi-gigabit SERDES communication
Experience implementing image processing algorithms in FPGAs
Experience with design, analysis, and architecture of digital signal processing electronics systems
EDUCATION:
Bachelor's Degree
School must be accredited.
HOURS:
9/80 workweek. 100% On-Site.
MISCELLANEOUS:
