Chipton-Ross is seeking a Nuclear Hardening Engineer for a contract opportunity in Canoga Park, CA.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Complete NEEHEM Matrix.
Verification of NH&S requirements.
Verify by analysis- provide design details and perform analysis modeling using in-house computer codes Verify by comparison- Use heritage test/analysis data , compare to new data.
Complete HCI Matrix.
Provide the list of hardness critical items to customer. Work with customer to update HCI matrix Incorporate HCI data into drawings.
Update DAR with finalized NEEHEM and HCI information.
Update DAR per NG recommended format.
REQUIREMENTS:
Nuclear hardening, MIL-STD-1766 compliance, NEEHEM and HCI development
EDUCATION:
Bachelors of science degree in nuclear engineering or equivalent.

MISCELLANEOUS:
Applicants responding to this position will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements by currently possessing the ability to view classified government information.
Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
