Description: Chipton-Ross is seeking a CAD Operator 2 for a contract/hybrid opportunity in Manhattan Beach, CA.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Uses standard computer aided design (CAD) digitizing techniques and skills. Digitizes, edits, and revises engineering drawings of components, parts, circuits, structures and/or assemblies. Makes engineering computations, mathematical calculations, determines scales, and prepares or revises specifications. May prepare pattern generating or artwork tapes for mask fabrication and operates plotters to obtain circuit drawings. Much of the work is solitary on the computer for days on end, but communication skills at beginning, middle, and end of each 3-week task is important to success.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
Must have experience design using computers (mechanical, graphics, schematic) or programming using computers.

PREDERRED:
It would be nice if they have Computer-Aided Design (CAD) skills.

EDUCATION:
high schiool diploma
School must be accredited.

HOURS:
5/40 workweek. Position is a hybrid position that has the potential to go full-time.

: Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
