Chipton-Ross is seeking a Mechanical Engineer III for a contract opportunity in Dallas, TX.
This position is 100% onsite.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
This activity includes support of PAC-3 missile and canister hardware in a fast paced environment. The engineer will be allowed to work remotely a day or two each week, but full-time on campus presence will be needed to support activities at times. Tasks also include working with multi-discipline groups to coordinate design and resolve issues. The engineer will also be involved in the development and release of engineering drawings and documents using CREO/Windchill.
REQUIREMENTS:
The preferred candidate shall have a sound Engineering / Technical foundation and be able to grasp complex issues quickly
Skilled at creating and releasing part and assembly models and detailed drawings using Creo (ProEngineer) and Windchill
Experience creating drawings in accordance with ASME Y14.100 standards
Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing in accordance with ASME Y14.5
Capable of performing in a fast paced, dynamic, inclusive, team environment
Limited Travel as necessary
Proficiency of Adobe Acrobat, Excel, Word, PowerPoint
Detail and process oriented
EDUCATION:
Accredited Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university, preferably in an Engineering related field
