Chipton-Ross is seeking a Test Engineer for a contract opportunity in Grand Prairie, TX.
This position is 100% onsite.
will be required to work with cross functional teams - Test System Technical
Lead, Systems Engineering (SE) SME, Unit Under Test (UUT) SME, Group Technical
Staff (GTS), and Functional Design Assurance SME - to ensure the test
system design is in-line with Enterprise standards and to ensure the test
system meets requirements.
Previous experience with designing and/or integrating Automated Test Equipment (ATE) using National Instruments Hardware
Ability to analyze Test Requirements and Design Hardware and Software solutions to meet these requirements
Troubleshooting Analog and Digital Electronics
Experience operating conventional Test Equipment and instrumentation (Oscilloscopes, power supplies, DMM, signal Generators, spectrum analyzers, AC/DC power distribution systems)
LabVIEW / TestStand Software development and configuration experience (2 years or more)
Experience with writing Test Procedures, Operating Instructions, or Test Plans
Supported Design Verification Test (DVT) activities
Production or Manufacturing Floor Experience
Accredited Bachelor's Degree
4/10 work schedule
