Description


Chipton-Ross is seeking a Production Planner for a direct hire opportunity in Canoga Park, CA.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
30% - Leading a team of load analysts to create the day-to-day execution plan for all Operations areas by serving as the interface between the Site IMS team and the Strategic Fabrication Center/SPACE and CTC.
15% - Lead a team of expediters to provide timely and coordinated movement and statusing of hardware, tooling and equipment throughout the Site's different Operations areas (in coordination with Site IMS).
15% - Provide leadership of the B/101 and B/106 stockrooms, building and providing kits and support material in accordance with Site IMS demand.
15% - Provide leadership of the cutting tool and pre-set areas to assure efficient and timely support of the SFC machine shop.
15% - Work with the Site IMS team to provide strategic leadership to continually evolve and enhance Site scheduling and shop execution planning process.
10% - Provide coaching and mentoring for career development and advancement of team members.

REQUIREMENTS:
- Experience with Integrated Master Scheduling.
- Experience working an equivalent Operations environment.

Work Environment/Physical Requirements: Employees in these positions must possess mobility to work in a standard office setting and to use standard office equipment, including a computer; stamina to sit or stand and maintain attention to detail despite interruptions; may occasionally lift/carry/push/pull up to 25 pounds; may require occasional walking, climbing, stooping, crouching, and/or bending; and vision to read printed materials and a computer screen, and hearing and speech to communicate in person and over the telephone. May require the ability to travel by air or auto. May require the use of personal protective equipment such as safety glasses, safety shoes, and shop coat. These positions may be expected to work varying shifts and hours to ensure successful operation of activities in the organization.

EDUCATION:
Requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing or related field with 9 (nine) years of related experience or an equivalent amount of education and experience.
