Description
Chipton-Ross is seeking a Software Engineer for a contract opportunity in Burbank, CA.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Salesforce Admin / Development:
Develop quality code and configuration solutions, working with application development teams through technical reviews, well documented requirements and design recommendations. Provide team input during projects, proof of concepts and act as a liaison across the functional and technical teams during solution implementations. Assist in admin support across the Salesforce COE portfolio. Collaborate with architecture teams to ensure solutions compatibility with WMTO Tech standards.70%
Technology Roadmap and Planning:
Work with WMTO Director to contribute to the comprehensive Technology Strategy Roadmap for the entire Salesforce COE portfolio.20%
Technology Partnership:
Work with the WMTO Salesforce COE team to deliver high quality support and solutions that bring value to the business and statutory or regulatory compliance directives. Promote WMTO Technology services and capabilities. Understand the market, business priorities and competitive issues and advantages. 10%

REQUIREMENTS:
• 5+ years of experience in implementing and supporting highly customized Salesforce system implementations with 500+ users at a large company, supporting 10+ distinct personas or user types
• 4+ years working in agile engineering teams, using scrum, Kanban, or similar frameworks, with opinions on the pros and cons of such a methodology
• 3+ years of experience with team(s) responsible for strategic planning and business stakeholder management
• Experience with design patterns and execution of Salesforce best practices for development, testing, and deployment
• Demonstrated use of Salesforce outside of a sales context, supporting other types of users, preferably in a b2b context
• Experience in Media & Entertainment industry highly desired
Required Skills
• 4 years of experience with Lightning Web Components, Apex, Community sites and Complex Security models
• Experience working with git repositories, resolving merge conflicts, and other general git workflows
• Working knowledge of design patterns, standard coding practice, OOP, Salesforce bulkification, scheduled apex, batch apex
• Advanced knowledge of HTML, CSS, and Javascript
• Experience in deployment/ packaging using sfdx cli and Metadata API
• Strong expertise in configuring Custom Objects & Fields, Validation Rules, Sharing rules, Sharing Sets, APEX Sharing rules, Flows & Approval Processes, & Reports and Dashboards
• Experience integrating Salesforce with other systems using APIs using platform events and HTTP callouts with REST, SOAP, or Web Service APIs
• Responsible for providing accurate estimates for development, testing, and deployment
• Salesforce Community/Experience Cloud with 500+ users
• Experience in management of major projects including:
o Large scale rollouts of business-critical applications
o Supporting multi-year collaborative business processes
o Participating in multi-year program roadmaps
• Preference for iterative agile projects with ongoing releases
• Experience working asynchronously with matrixed teams with a time difference, on and offshore
Highly Desirable Skills & Experience
• Experience in either Salesforce Marketing Cloud or Tableau CRM
• Bias towards action, with little supervision
• Hyper communicative, will ask questions and provide insights openly
• Advanced knowledge of Salesforce Data Management & Governance best practices
• Experience extending a Salesforce application into AWS, including SES for sending emails or lambdas for triggering microservices
• Ability to help mitigate any potential roadblocks for the teams as well as anticipate potential project related problems
• Ability to consistently make timely decisions and balancing systematic analysis with decisiveness, even in the face of complexity

• Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Tableau, Tableau CRM
• Atlassian Suite (Jira/Confluence)
• Github, including Github Actions
• Visual Studio
Education, Professional Training, Technical Training or Certification
• Salesforce Certification with 3-5 years of experience with Salesforce Platform
• Platform Developer I (must have)
• Platform Developer II
• Platform App Builder
• Salesforce Administrator

EDUCATION:
Bachelor's Degree plus applicable experience

SHIFT:
Full-Time
• Must be able to work standard hours (8:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.)

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
