Chipton-Ross is seeking an Engineer Electrical 1 for an opportunity in Newport News, VA.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Researches, develops, designs, and tests electrical components, equipment, systems, and networks. Designs electrical equipment, facilities, components, products, and systems for commercial, industrial, and domestic purposes.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
0 Years with Bachelors in Science
Experience within submarine engineering as well as submarine construction. Experience working in a 3D product model environment, SAP and familiarity with electrical standards for cable pans, clips, hangers, etc, is a plus
o Experience with Siemens Teamcenter and NX (3D)
o Experience working with technical documents/drawings
o Coordinate design criteria with other departments and external organizations to ensure that all requirements are met
o Require good oral and written skills, and be comfortable "directing traffic" between all involved parties with limited supervision
o Ability to adapt quickly to change
o Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with suppliers/customers
Communications skills
Computer literate
Technical knowledge of Electrical Engineering
EDUCATION:
Bachelors in Science is required.
School must be accredited.
HOURS:
5/40 workweek, First Shift 7:30 AM - 4:00. May consider part-time remote upon satisfactory completion of training.
Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
