Description
Chipton-Ross is seeking a Business Analyst 4 for a contract opportunity in Burbank, CA.

This position is 100% onsite.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
You will be responsible for proactively conducting interviews with all project stakeholders to elicit functional requirements in an organized manner, then managing and communicating those requirements throughout the project life-cycle. Upon establishment of the requirements baseline, will be addressing change management issues and assist in test planning.

REQUIREMENTS:
o 4+ years' experience as a business analyst
o Extensive experience planning, facilitating, eliciting, documenting, and managing business, functional and technical requirements
o Demonstrated ability to lead conversations to decisions, addressing outstanding questions, providing clarification necessary, and getting sign off on designs
o Familiar with ETL
o Ability to anticipate design and workflow questions before they are asked
o Expertise in modeling complicated processes and mapping current-state to future-state business processes
o Confidence to lead conversations with multiple stakeholders, setting agendas and capturing clear next steps to keep discovery on track
o Ability to manage multiple, concurrent projects, activities, and tasks under time constraints
o Excellent analytical, trouble shooting and critical thinking skills
o High energy level, adaptive and a strong team player with a good work ethic
o Experience in test planning, test case development and execution
o Excellent communication, collaboration, and client engagement skills that encourage discussion
o Experience with both traditional Waterfall SDLC and Agile / Lean methodologies

o Must be able to communicate effectively and tactfully with all levels of personnel, both in person, on the phone or in virtual meetings
o Must be able to organize and schedule work effectively
o Must be able to manage multiple tasks with changing priorities, communicating changes in scope and schedule to all parties concerned
o Must be service-oriented
o Must be able to work independently
o Must be able to demonstrate resilience and reset quickly if/when encountering potential setbacks

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience in Media & Entertainment Industry
o Experience with heavily customized ERP applications

Application & System Knowledge
o Data Warehouse (e.g. Snowflake, Teradata)
o Data Visualization Tools (e.g. Tableau, Power BI, Business Objects, MicroStrategy)
o ERP & Product Information Management tools (e.g. Microsoft Dynamics Nav, Business Central)
o Atlassian Suite (Jira/Confluence)
o Project Management Tools (e.g., Monday.com, Asana)
o Microsoft O365 Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Sharepoint, etc)

EDUCATION:
Accredited Professional Training, Technical Training or Certification
o Undergraduate Degree

SHIFT:
Full-Time
Must be able to work standard hours (9:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.) with some flexible hours, including overtime, when necessary

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
