- Chipton-Ross is seeking a IT Business Analyst 4 for a contract opportunity in Burbank, CA.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Quality Assurance & User Acceptance Testing:
Prepare detailed test scripts for Quality Assurance and User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
Plan, facilitate and execute system functional testing and UAT for projects and enhancements
Requirements Gathering & Functional Design:
Lead business requirements gathering efforts with various DC business stakeholders and user groups for initiatives related to their ERP tool
Analyze and convert user requirements into functional design specifications
Collaborate with business areas to identify, document, and communicate business needs
Document, analyze and assess current business processes and underlying systems / applications
Produce high quality business and technical artifacts, including requirement specifications, process flows, functional design specification, mock-ups, and wireframes
Understand the relationships, dependencies and impact of integrated business functions, core systems, applications, and technical platforms
Ad hoc Activities:
Contribute to status reports, risk, and issue logs
Perform other duties as required or assigned
REQUIREMENTS:
General Work Experience / Qualifications
4+ years' experience as a business analyst
Extensive experience planning, facilitating, eliciting, documenting, and managing business, functional and technical requirements
Demonstrated ability to lead conversations to decisions, addressing outstanding questions, providing clarification necessary, and getting sign off on designs
Ability to anticipate design and workflow questions before they are asked
Expertise in modeling complicated processes and mapping current-state to future-state business processes
Confidence to lead conversations with multiple stakeholders, setting agendas and capturing clear next steps to keep discovery on track
Ability to manage multiple, concurrent projects, activities, and tasks under time constraints
Excellent analytical, trouble shooting and critical thinking skills
High energy level, adaptive and a strong team player with a good work ethic
Experience in test planning, test case development and execution
Excellent communication, collaboration, and client engagement skills that encourage discussion
Experience with both traditional Waterfall SDLC and Agile / Lean methodologies
Highly Desirable/ Specific Experience
Experience in Media & Entertainment Industry
Experience with heavily customized ERP applications
Application & System Knowledge
ERP & Product Information Management tools (e.q. Microsoft Dynamics Nav, Business Central)
Atlassian Suite (Jira/Confluence)
Project Management Tools (e.g., Monday.com, Asana)
Microsoft O365 Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Sharepoint, etc)
Data Warehouse (e.g. Snowflake, Teradata)
Other Requirements
Must be able to communicate effectively and tactfully with all levels of personnel, both in person, on the phone or in virtual meetings
Must be able to organize and schedule work effectively
Must be able to manage multiple tasks with changing priorities, communicating changes in scope and schedule to all parties concerned

Must be able to demonstrate resilience and reset quickly if/when encountering potential setbacks
Must be able to maintain confidentiality
EDUCATION:
Accredited Undergraduate Degree
SHIFT:
Full-Time
Must be able to work standard hours (8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.) with some flexible hours, including overtime, when necessary
Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
