Chipton-Ross is seeking an Systems Engineer 3 for a contract opportunity Annapolis, MD.
Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. Requirements management schema establishment, followed by derivation, decomposition, allocation, & linking in DOORS. An ability to proactively self-start is key. Functional decomposition and requirements mapping. Providing support to IPTs for refinement of baseline architecture as requested.
o Bachelor's Degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) field and 5+ years of experience; 3+ years of experience with Master's Degree, or 0+ years of experience with a PhD.
o Demonstrated experience in Systems Engineering processes, including (but not limited to) requirements development & management, system modeling, system architecture development, interface traceability, integration & test, and verification & validation.
o Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
o Willing to learn additional discipline areas.
MBSE integration and tool/process experience a plus.
Submarine/UUV experience a plus.
Bachelor's Degree is required.
School must be accredited.
9/80 workweek. 100% On-Site.
