Description: Chipton-Ross is seeking a Manufacturing Technician I for a contract opportunity in St. Louis, MO.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
The candidate will be responsible for the daily performance of production support operations of the manufacturing of Commercial and Clinical Biologics while following Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs). These functions may include but are not limited to activities such as building process lines, operating autoclaves, inventory control, processing secondary containers, visual inspection of equipment and assisting with facility cleaning.

• Execution of work instructions and/or SOPs, with focus on ‘right the first time’ executions.
• Maintain cGMP compliance in assigned work including documentation of all activities.
• Complete preventative maintenance and work notifications tasks on time.
• Ensure tasks are completed with a method of prioritization.
• Participate in shift exchanges, 1-1’s, meetings, attend meetings as necessary to facilitate area needs based on change, etc. (lean activities).

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
• Experience in manufacturing and/or GMP industry a preferred.
• Basic math, mechanical and computer skills.
• Able to gown, wear PPE, and work successfully in a clean room environment.
• Good communication.
• Able to read, write and communicate in English.
• Indoor workspace that leaves no visual of outside areas.
• Able to work rotating or fixed schedule.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
• Some lifting, pushing or pulling required.
• Able to stand, walk, reach with hands/arms, stoop, kneel, crouch for most of the day.

HARD REQUIREMENTS:
Must be able to work the rotating schedule.

EDUCATION:
• High School diploma or GED required.

WORK HOURS:
Full-Time; Full-Time; This position will be a 12-hour rotation shift from 5;30am-6pm. Work Fri, Sat, Sun off Monday, Tues, Work Wednesday, Thursday then schedule will flip.
: Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
