Chipton-Ross is seeking 5 Test & Evaluation Engineer's 3 for a contract opportunity in El Segundo, CA.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Supports the development and verification of test methods. Develops detailed test procedures, and instrumentation and configuration definition, needed to perform the test and minimize risk within the constraints of the test plan. Develops solutions to calibration systems problems of limited scope and impact. Designs test hardware, software and systems to achieve test requirements. Uses analytical tools to verify the design. Analyzes, processes, and formats data to customer requirements. Reviews test data, including off-nominal data, for accuracy, quality and/or fidelity prior to delivery to customer. Prepares and publishes test reports to document test results and satisfy requirements. Presents test results internally. Archives data and reports. Trains others. Works under general direction.

HARD REQUIREMENTS:
TEST ENGINEER
ON HAND EXPERIENCE WITH TEST AIDS (HANDHELD TOOLS).
TROUBLESHOOTING PROCESSINT TEST DATA/ TEST PROCEDURE DEVELOPMENT.
Must be able to climb ladders and work at heights.
Must be able to stoop, kneel, bend, crouch and lift up to 30 pounds.
Must be able to perform extensive sitting, standing, driving, walking, and climbing.
Must be able to operate test equipment in a factory setting.
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:
FAILURE REVIEW BOARD (PLUS)-Not required but highly desired.
TEST READINESS REVIEW (PLUS)-Not required but highly desired.
SPECIAL TEST EQUIPMENT (STE)-PLUS--Not required but highly desired.
RF (RADIO FREQUENCY)-PLUS-Not required but highly desired.
EDUCATION:
Looking for an Accredited Bachelor's degree in electrical or aerospace capacity. Typical 3+ years of experience.
WORK HOURS:
Full-Time/Third Shift
10 pm - 6:30 am
MISCELLANEOUS:

100% onsite.
Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
