Chipton Ross is seeking a Material Analyst Intern for a contract opportunity in Murfreesboro, TN.
o Update the PFEP (Plan for every part) for current part and volume information
o Review current projection for containers lineside and confirm current racking
o Review and confirm all part labelling in place in warehouse and work on opportunities for improvement on visual management
o Establish defined material handling routes within OMNI ID to drive efficiency
o Review and confirm all part labelling in place for lineside racking
o Help monitor past due suppliers as requested.
o Support team with AMS/BOS/MMSA assessments, monitoring, and corrective action process
o Help with visual aids, storage improvements, and other continuous improvement projects as assigned.
o Report accidents, occupational illnesses, and HSE&E emergencies, and inform supervisor of known HSE&E conditions which could adversely affect other team members, assets or to the public
Must be currently enrolled in college working towards a relevant Bachelor's Degree.
Accredited High School Diploma required.
Monday-Friday 8a-5p, will be discussed with Hiring Manager at a later date if adjustments are needed.
Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
