Chipton-Ross is seeking 3 Electrical Engineer's 3 for a contract opportunity in El Segundo, CA.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Client is seeking a motivated and talented Mid-Level Electrical Engineer focused on Special Test Equipment (STE) Readiness to join our Client Test & Evaluation team. The Electrical Engineer will have the primary responsibility of ensuring our Factory STE is ready and certified to perform tests for our satellites in the factory.
Perform the duties to ensure the Special Test Equipment (Electrical & RF) are ready to meet program requirements in the factory.
Perform troubleshooting of test equipment in conjunction with design engineers.
Work to increase up time of test equipment and proactively communicate status of assets.
Assist with lab management and 5S projects.
Actively coordinate with STE Project Managers to ensure the Test Equipment is available and ready when required.
Establish preventative maintenance schedules for all STE assets
Work with Design Engineers to identify systemic issues and implement corrective actions and design updates.
Prepares and publishes reports to document results and satisfy requirements.
Strong Communication skills.

HARD REQUIREMENTS:
Successful completion of training is a contingency for this assignment - OJT or formal classroom training.
Experience with design, integration, and test of electrical systems.
Hands on electrical experience in debugging and/or design.
Working with test equipment that's supports satellite testing (electrical and some RF).
Electrical is what they're looking for. RF is nice to have but not required.
5+ years of electrical engineer experience (open to any industry) but great to have satellite but not required.
Any STEM programs.

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:
Experience with satellite testing & RF test equipment.
Experience leading asset management and tracking activities.
Ability to work shift work weeks (eg Sun-Thurs, Thurs-Mon).

EDUCATION:
Accredited Bachelor's degree and typically 5 or more years' experience in an engineering classification or a Master's degree with typically 3 or more years' experience in an engineering classification or a PhD degree with experience in an engineering classification. Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry. ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

WORK HOURS:
Full-Time
6 am - 3 pm
Start/End Time: 6am-8am and 2pm-5pm (open to being flexible if they want to work 2nd shift but not required.)

MISCELLANEOUS:

100% Onsite

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
