Chipton-Ross is seeking a Software Engineer 3 for a contract opportunity in Oklahoma City, OK.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develops, documents and maintains architectures, requirements, algorithms, interfaces and designs for software systems. Develops and maintains code and integrates software components into a fully functional software system. Develops software verification plans, test procedures and test environments, executing the test procedures and documenting test results to ensure software system requirements are met. Performs software project management and software supplier management functions. Develops, selects, tailors and deploys software processes, tools and metrics. Executes and documents software research and development projects. Serves as a subject matter expert for software domains, system-specific issues, processes and regulations. Tracks and evaluates software team and supplier performance to ensure product and process conformance to project plans and industry standards. Works under general direction.
HARD REQUIREMENTS:
-NATO/COMSEC
-Must be local to OKC.
-Willing to relocate to Oklahoma City.
-Must be a TEAM PLAYER.
-C++ or Ada experience.
-Experienced with Agile methodologies.
-Successful completion of training is a contingency for this assignment - OJT or formal classroom training.
COMM Experience
- Military radios they may have worked with. ARC-204, ARC-210, RT-651, TSM.
- Message protocols to be familiar with: TCP/IP, UDP, RS-23, MILSTD-1553.
- Working Knowledge of CORBA (Common Object Request Broker Architecture).
- Working Knowledge of ADA95, C++, Java.
- Version control tools worked with which one have they used. Have they used Git?
- Used and working any Atlassian tool. Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket.
DLI Experience:
- Link11 / Link16 experience, preferably C2 (Command and Control), so... AWACS, JSTARS.
- MIDS (Multifunctional Information Distribution System) or STT (Small Tactical terminal) experience, either LVT or JTRS for MIDS, but understands even at a 50,000 ft level how the networks fit together.
- Working Knowledge of ADA95, C++, Java Version control tools worked with which one have they used. Have they used Git?
- Used and working any Atlassian tool. Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket.
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:
-Used and worked with any Atlassian tool. Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket.
-Working Knowledge of CORBA (Common Object Request Broker Architecture).
-Extensive C++/Ada/Java experience.
-Link-11/Link-16/Link-22 software implementations.
-Link11 / Link16 experience, preferably C2 (Command and Control).

-Integration of ESM systems into Mission Systems capability.
-Integration of Communications Systems.

-Message protocols familiar with: TCP/IP, UDP, RS-23, MILSTD-1553.
EDUCATION:
Accredited Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
WORK HOURS:
Full-Time
7 am - 3:30 pm

-9x80 Work Schedule.
-100% onsite.
Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
