Description
Chipton-Ross is seeking a Documentation Engineer 1 for a contract opportunity in South Jordan, UT.

SUMMARY:
You will be encouraged to provide support for those departments regarding design and specification queries. You will also support our department Document Specialists, lead department project work and support the approval process within the businesses ERP and QMS systems. It will also be important to engage in the strong culture of continuous improvement we have, so you should expect to be involved in PPI processes to help initiate positive change that benefits the department and business, demonstrating the companies 4i values of Integrity, Intensity, Innovation and Involvement!

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Translate released drawings into Item Masters, BOM's, Routings, and work instructions. Analyze variance reports and update system standards. Perform maintenance of ERP system data. Support the specification approval process. Participate in process improvement through data driven activities.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
A successful candidate will have strong written and verbal skills as part of a multi-functional team and should have proven planning, analytical and problem solving abilities. Familiar with ERP systems (Oracle preferred). Experience with MS Office products with expertise in Excel

EDUCATION:
Accredited High School Diploma/GED

WORK HOURS:
Full-Time
8:00 to 4:30PM, Monday through Friday

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
