Chipton-Ross is seeking an Assembler for a contract opportunity in Orlando, FL.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Person assuming this position will be performing electrical and mechanical assembly operations to detailed work processes on critical military sub-assemblies and systems.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
Must have the ability to follow detailed written instructions in the performance of electrical, optical, and mechanical assembly operations that include solder, harness and cable, mechanical assembly of chassis, line replaceable units and systems level assembly.
Basic understanding of Soldering
Must have the ability to pass the solder, harness and cable certification course provided by the company.
All certifications and works instructions are in English.
Ability to read, comprehend, and communicate effectively in English is required.
Basic computer navigation skills required to navigate work instruction portal.
DESIRED EXPERIENCE:
Previous solder certification or experience

Accredited HSD/GED
WORK HOURS:
Full-Time
4/10 work schedule
Classroom Training and OJT training in the production environment will be conducted on 1st shift. First shift hours are 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM. This could extend as long as the first 10-12 weeks of employment. Then the employee would move to second shift.
Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
