Chipton-Ross is seeking a Systems Architect Engineer 3 for a contract opportunity in Orlando, FL.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Designs and develops system architectures, and defines key capabilities and performance requirements. Defines design and technology maturity constraints of the system in accordance with customer specifications. Develops thorough definition of system external interfaces. Defines system implementation approach and operational concept. Ensures requirements are met and evaluates performance with customer.
Lead Engineer to oversee the development and sustainment of a next generation simulation program. Responsibilities include: oversight of the system architecture and the full development lifecycle to include requirements analysis, design, integration and test within an agile environment while coordinating with teammates and customers.
Essential Job Functions:
Full-cycle development experience that includes requirements analysis, design, and implementation within a complex suite of simulation products
Ability to decompose user-level requirements into system implementation requirements.
Compliance with development guidelines and standards in accordance with established government and industry development processes
Understand and adhere to project schedules and program risks
Strong interpersonal skills
Experience working effectively in a team-oriented agile environment
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline such as electrical engineering, computer science, information technology, systems or software engineering from an accredited college or university.
Minimum 8+ years software or system engineering experience.
Experience with constructive and virtual simulation in a system engineering or software engineering role
Experience with Simulation protocols, HLA, HLAe, DIS, etc.
Knowledge in any of the following areas would be considered a plus:
Experience supporting military training events/exercises utilizing simulation-based training systems
Secure systems
Web framework/services
EDUCATION:
Bachelor's Degree is required.
School must be accredited.
HOURS:
9/80 workweek.
MISCELLANEOUS:

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
