Chipton-Ross is seeking an Antenna Test Engineer 2 for a contract opportunity in Baltimore, MD.
o Antenna test equipment design in support of factory phased array testing
o Test software and test equipment design related to phased array testing in a Nearfield Antenna Range
o Troubleshoot RF issues during test of advanced antenna systems.
o Support technicians with troubleshooting and training
o Analyze test data and identify early trends
o Support program meetings in developing root cause and corrective actions
o Collaborate with design engineering for hardware and test improvements
o Sensitivity to cost, schedule and quality as well as policies and procedures is imperative
o BS Degree in science, engineering, or other STEM-related plus a minimum of 1 year experience -or- an MS degree in areas described above with a minimum of 1 year experience
o Experience in electrical and/or RF test equipment design
o Experience with test software development
o Familiarity with RF and antenna theory
o RF test experience and or antenna range experience
o Software development experience with RF and antenna systems
o Test development experience in a nearfield antenna range
EE degree preferred with design and software experience.
Bachelor's Degree required.
School must be accredited.
9/80 work week. 100% On-Site.
