Chipton-Ross is seeking 2 (two) Aeronautical Engineer's for a contract opportunity in Marietta, GA.

SUMMARY:
Successful candidate will be able to perform structural analysis on new designs of airframe mechanism parts, including landing gear and inflight opening doors.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for static strength assessment, detail part sizing of primary and secondary mechanisms structure. You will work directly with suppliers to convey requirements and to verify compliant products. You will use your knowledge of engineering mechanics, including Engineering Statics, Dynamics, and Strength of Materials.

REQUIREMENTS:
Experience in stress analysis of Airframe structure or inflight OPENING DOORS and LANDING GEAR , and interfaces. Experience with finite element analysis, such as NASTRAN, PATRAN, or ABAQUS.

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:
Landing Gear and opening doors knowledge will be the focus of this position and is a preferred skill.

EDUCATION:
Accredited High School Diploma or GED.

MISCELLANEOUS:

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
