Description


Chipton-Ross is seeking a Software Engineer III for a contract opportunity in Fort Collins, CO.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform all phases of software development including design, implementation, testing, integration, and maintenance of existing and new software applications.
Development and support of desktop UI/UX, data analysis, hardware to software communications, and hardware to software instrument control software.
Collaborate with verification and validation teams to build test requirements based on system software requirements and design.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
4+ years working with C#.
4+ years working with UWP, WPF, or SilverLight.
4+ years of experience with .NET framework, NET Core or .Net 5- .Net 7.
4+ years of experience developing C# GUI applications using object-oriented techniques and methodology.
Experience with software industry standard design.
Patterns in general and specifically with MVVM.
Experience with multi-threaded software environment specifically within the .Net environment.
Enhancing and improving existing software libraries and applications.
Experience understanding and communicating associated risks with making changes to large codebases.
Deep understanding and experience in API design (like RESTFul), including versioning, isolation, documentation for internal and external (commercial)
Proven experience with software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile/iterative methodologies.
Understanding of Object Oriented Design Patterns
Comfortable working in Visual Studio and Azure DevOps.

EDUCATION:
Minimum of High School Diploma or GED.

WORK HOURS:
Full-Time; 8-5pm.

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
