Chipton-Ross is seeking a Quality Systems Assistant 2 for a contract opportunity in Chandler, AZ.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Primary function is the collection of technical documentation from manufacturing and off site locations, data entry of documentation into a web database; posting to file share locations, banker boxes, & managing this data flow. Other duties may be assigned by management as needed to support the overall documentation control process. Examples are, but not limited to: assisting coworkers in document pulls, supporting requests for documentation needs, copying and electronically scanning the data, merging and delivery of electronic files. Strong computer skills in web data entry, Adobe pdf some MS Access and are required; understand merging of documents & renaming files, ability to lift & move full banker boxes. This position requires extended periods of sitting and operating a computer and scanner.
Receives incoming documentation, data entry in to database, scans hard copies, downloads electronic reports, uses folder and file hierarchy and naming conventions to create complete electronic data packages; Archives hard copy and electronic inspection/build packages, compiles release packages ensuring all documentation is present. Posts electronic files to various share drive locations based on program or request. Maintains audit trails. Must be able to lift and move large totes and banker boxes. Able to stand at a scanner for extended periods of time; may alternately require extended periods of sitting; primary focus will be downloading electronic reports, scanning hard copy records and merging the records. Competent command of Adobe Pro software required. Able to learn use of software for sending and receiving banker boxes from off-site storage facility. Prepare and present hardware and material packages to external customers for acceptance.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or GED is required. A minimum of 2 yrs. related Quality Assurance experience is preferred.
Strong computer skills in MS Office, MS Access and Adobe pdf are required. No less than intermediate user in all MS Office programs, including Sharepoint; Adobe Pro to include building portfolios; web databases. At least one year of employment history in a position of responsibility working in an administrative and documentation control environment is required. Computer literacy in Windows OS, Microsoft Access, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Adobe Pro and electronic data transfer is required. Demonstrate personal skills to interact within a technical organization are required. Understanding of manufacturing build processes, part numbers, subassembly and final build preferred. The ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a positive manner is a must, including the ability to change tasks/direction multiple times within a workday as needed is required. These tasks may support other managers, leads or coworkers. The ability to operate various makes/models of printers and scanners is required. This position must meticulously follow directions and processes. A focus on attention to all details of work assignments is required. This position requires periods of prolonged sitting, standing, walking, and moving boxes.
EDUCATION:
High school diploma or equivalent/GED is required.
School must be accredited.
HOURS:
9/80 work schedule with alternate Fridays off. Day time first shift hours, 5AM-330PM, OT possible,
Work is in a warehouse, casual dress..
Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
