Description
Chipton-Ross is seeking an Assembler for a contract opportunity in Acton, MA.

This position is 100% onsite.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Performs electrical/ mechanical assembly, using simple hand tools, fixtures and aids. Works from established and released documented work instructions. This section contains a list of five to eight primary responsibilities of this role that account for 5% or more of the work. The incumbent will perform other duties assigned. Adheres to all environmental, health and safety requirements. Performs electro-mechanical assemblies while maintaining quality workmanship standards to ensure product reliability. Performs tasks involving the use of a variety of hand tools, fixtures and aids. Under directions of Engineering department, may perform assembly functions to comply with protocols. May require supplemental training (i.e., solder certification, crimping tool certifications, forklift certification and/or sanitization techniques).

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
Knowledge and ability to perform tasks on a variety of assembly stations including test equipment. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. List knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required. Beginning software application skills required Include the education and experience that is necessary to perform the job satisfactorily.

EDUCATION:
Accredited High School diploma or equivalent required. Plus 2-4 years related experience required.

Full-Time
1st Shift

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
