- Chipton-Ross is seeking an Assembler II for a contract opportunity in Archbald, PA.
Performs a variety of tasks ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive production assembly operations on electronic and/or mechanical assemblies and subassemblies such as modules, circuit boards, panels, drawers, frames, and cables. Works from diagrams and drawings, makes initial layouts, and uses hand and/or power tools. Makes continuity checks on work in process and completed. May conduct quality inspections on processing line in accordance with quality specifications. May disassemble, modify, rework, reassemble product as required.
Computer Proficient (Basic Skills)
Ability to understand and work to written technical instructions
Familiar with use of basic hand tools and automated assembly machines
Ability to read drawings
Familiar with or ability to learn proper Electrostatic Discharge Sensitive (ESD) handling processes & procedures
Must be at least 18 years old
Soldering under a scope
Cable and harness assembly
Previous production line experience
4/10 work schedule
Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
