Chipton-Ross is seeking 14 Flight Readiness Technician/QA Inspection Specialist C for a contract opportunity in Victorville, CA.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Performs final component installation and systems operational functional testing. Troubleshoots pre-flight and post-flight functions for delivery. FAA Airframe & Powerplant license preferred. Employees in this classification may exercise duties and privileges granted under that certificate.
REQUIREMENTS:
o At least 1 year of experience in a quality/inspection role
o Maintenance/Production background
o Being able to read blueprints, drawings: familiarity with it prior to the training.
o Computer skills: Microsoft Office
o These are production airplanes.
o Proficient in English: Reading and writing
o 787
o Previous Client experience a plus.
o Requires being on their feet for long periods of time, climbing ladders, fitting in confined spaces.
o In Training: hands on and desk work
EDUCATION:
Accredited education/experience typically acquired through basic education (e.g. High School diploma/GED) and typically 4 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. vocational school/Associate+2 years' related work, Bachelor, etc.).
TRAVEL: YES - FOR TRAINING
TRAINING DURATION: 4 - 4.5 WEEKS
FULL TIME/FIRST SHIFT
WORK HOURS: 5:30 AM - 2:00 PM
Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
