- Chipton-Ross is seeking a Sr. Manufacturing Operator for a contract opportunity in Austin, TX.
SUMMARY:
The Senior Technician with discover impactful work. Responsibilities include filling, packaging, labeling, and processing of new and commercialized Biosciences Division (BID) and Genetic Sciences X (GSX) products by following the appropriate documentation and procedures.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Operate a variety of industrial equipment including Large Volume Filling Line, IMA, auto-labelers, autoclaves and labware washers. Accurate completion of required manufacturing documentation under ISO13485 guidelines. Assist department by staging raw materials; cleaning laboratory hardware; off-loading automated filling lines. Meet quality, operations, EHS and PPI goals and objectives. Maintain a safe and clutter free work area and report property damage and /or safety hazards to the Supervisor, Human Resources, Safety Specialist or Senior Management immediately.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
3 years proven experience working in a manufacturing environment, preferred experience in biotech or chemical manufacturing. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while processing multiple responsibilities simultaneously. Positive demeanor, cross-functional engagement and involvement. Adaptable to changing processes and work environments. High Integrity and intensity. Innovative. Adheres to operating standards, procedures and cGMP's. Basic knowledge of the metric system. Capable to regularly lift / move up to 25 to 50 pounds. Strong interpersonal skills; ability to prioritize and lead through sophisticated processes/ projects. Able to apply various standard programs for data entry and word processing. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Ability to apply software and customized programs to meet business needs; familiarity with SAP and other business software a plus.

Accredited High School Diploma/GED

Full-Time
Mon-Fri First Shift
Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
