Description


Chipton-Ross is seeking a Stock Clerk 1 for a contract opportunity in Sunnyvale, CA.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Performs a combination of manual and clerical duties to receive, store, and issue equipment, materials, and supplies in a central warehouse. Examines stock to verify conformance to specifications and invoices; stores articles according to identifying factors; fills orders or issues supplies from stock; requisitions stock to fill incoming orders; and prepares stock use reports. Determines methods or places for storage considering guidelines for temperature, humidity, weight or height limits, turnover, floor loading capacity, and required space. Exclude shipping and/or receiving clerks.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
High school Diploma or equivalent.
This hire will need to operate an electric scissor lift, which requires an Aerial Work Platform Certification. This training can be obtained onsite if necessary, subject to instructor availability, but may cause a delay in ability to perform all aspects of job. This hire will need to be able to lift 50-60 lbs.
This is a contingent hire to cover Archives processing during the normal employee's Military Leave of Absence of 11 months (June 2023 - May 2024). Need estimated at 8 hours/week, and will require an Aerial/Elevated Work Platform Certification which may be obtained through EH&S if necessary.


EDUCATION:
High School Diploma/GED is required.
School must be accredited.

HOURS:
4/10 work week.

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
