Chipton-Ross is seeking a Payroll Assistant 2 for contract/hybrid opportunity in Chandler, AZ.
o Performs a variety of clerical duties required to prepare payroll data for computer input
o Balancing and transferring hours between timesheets and company accounting program to ensure all hours were entering correctly and accounted for
o Reviews timekeeping records
o Processes exception items requiring special handling
o Responds to inquiries from employees regarding timesheet or payroll questions
o Ensures employee timesheets are signed and approved for bi-weekly payroll processing
o Prepares, compiles and audits payroll reports, resolving any errors that populate
o Assists with documentation gathering for audits
o High School Diploma or GED and 2+ years of professional work experience
o Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including MS Excel and experience with V-Lookups
o Associate's Degree or Bachelor's Degree
o Experience with Shop Floor Time payroll system.
o Experience with Workday HRIS and Service Now
o Payroll audit or processing experience
o Fundamentals of Payroll Certification
High school diploma or GED.
School must be accredited.
5/40 workweek. This position will have the ability to work a HYBRID work schedule and is required to be onsite at least 2 days per week. Additionally, the Sunday prior to a payroll run, this role will need to support payroll preparation for approximately four (4) hours.
Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
