Chipton Ross is seeking a Materials Analyst for a contract opportunity in Warren, MI.
RESPONSIBILTIES:
Cycle Counting:
Validate and analyze discrepancies, any errors found during these small incremental counts should result in an adjustment to the inventory accounting records. Also, an investigation into the reasons for each error found should be conducted. The eventual result should be detailed procedures and training with the intention of create high levels of inventory record accuracy. Some of the counts will have to be performed during weekends.
Managing Suppliers:
Every analyst gets a deck of suppliers with 200 to 250 part numbers total, the Analyst follows with the suppliers on a daily basis for shipments, window times changes, schedule changes etc.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
Excel Skills: Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, Managing Worksheets, Sorting data, Generate charts, formatting cells
Some lift but under 25lbs unless assisted.
EDUCATION:
Accredited High School Diploma required.
WORK HOURS:
M- F 8:00AM - 4:30PM - Very flexible with OT
Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
