Chipton-Ross is seeking a Senior Facilities Engineer for a contract opportunity in Batesville, IN.
This position is 100% onsite - Temp to perm!
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Create and continuously improve the systems for the elimination of downtime in manufacturing and utilities.
Support the manufacturing process, with projects to improve the quality, cost and lean manufacturing.
Support manufacturing in the installation of new processes.
Responsible for maintenance budgets.
Comply & provide all corporate requirements.
Develop, implement programs & practices to 100% compliance with applicable federal, state, local and Baxter regulations & practices.
Assure the execution of the maintenance programs.
Participate in lean manufacturing initiatives.
To lead the zero-harm initiative at Baxter.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
3+ years' experience in the following specialties: facilities and equipment maintenance and repair.
Strong mechanical abilities.
Solid understanding of structures and evaluations, roofing systems, and pressure vessels (boilers/steam).
o Knowledge of machine safety applications, maintenance systems, industrial processes, electrical systems, electrical wiring diagrams, safety, electrical code, and safety laws.
o Experience with machine hydraulics, machine pneumatics, machining, maintenance, fabrication, fire protection systems, PLC machine logic, motor controllers and servo drives.
6s, systems implementation.
EDUCATION:
Accredited Bachelor's degree in Engineering.

1st Shift
#ZREmployment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
