Description

Chipton-Ross is seeking an Aircraft Painter for a contract opportunity in Greenville, SC.

This position is 100% onsite.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Aircraft Media Blaster/Chemical Stripping Technician-Removes old paint from aircraft using Media blasting, Chemical liquid paint remover and scraper. Smoothes surface with sandpaper and steel wool, roughens aluminum surfaces with acid solution and steel wool to insure that paint adheres to surface, masks and covers portions of surfaces not to be painted, and paint insignia, letters or numerals on aircraft surface, using stencils. Performs aircraft washing and detailing per customer specs.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
Plastic Media blast experience
Aircraft stripping and wash experience
Good attitude and willingness to learn

EDUCATION:
Accredited HSD/GED

WORK HOURS:
Full-Time
4/10 work schedule
1st shift

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
