Description


Chipton-Ross is seeking a Programmer Analyst 3 for a contract/hybrid opportunity in one of the following locations: Hazelwood, MO, Renton, WA, Everett, WA, Kent, WA, Seattle, WA, Tukwila, WA, El Segundo, CA, Seal Beach, CA, Long Beach, CA, Los Angeles, CA, Huntington Beach, CA, Heath, OH, Huntsville, AL, Mesa, AZ, North Charleston, SC, Oklahoma City, OK, Pittsburgh, PA, Ridley Park, PA, Plano, TX, or Salt Lake City, UT.

*This position is HYBRID position with onsite work as often as required (ex: All Employee Meetings, Customer Engagement).

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Designs, programs, tests, implements, documents and maintains computing applications. Gathers and evaluates end user requirements. Writes and compiles code and constructs database objects based on documented design and analyzes information to determine architecture specifications, parameters for software compatibility, application security needs and other application architecture requirements. Modifies or upgrades applications to maintain software functionality. Identifies and resolves programming or application architecture problems. Reviews system performance and identifies and recommends improvements.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
o Maintain System Stability and Predictability of multiple applications
o Development, Deployment, and Maintenance of multiple Java/C#, Oracle/SQL Server applications
o Development, Deployment, and Maintenance of multiple applications in other development languages and technologies, learning them as needed
o System security compliance
o System technical debt remediation
o System Change and Configuration Management
o Production support; work across the enterprise to resolve software and infrastructure issues
o Support regulatory compliance and quality audits
o Continuous learning in system functionality and infrastructure, business operations, technology, and methodologies
o Execute to Transformation Objectives
o As the IT Product Owner, engage with Product Manager for work intake, prioritization, and tracking
o Cloud migration of existing applications
o Agile operation
o DevSecOps
o Automation

REQUIRED SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:
o 5+ years of professional IT experience in software development
o5+ years of professional IT experience in software infrastructure and operations
o Experience and proficiency in Java
o Experience and proficiency in Oracle
o Experience and proficiency in Cloud
o Experience and proficiency in DevSecOps
o Experience and proficiency in Agile

DESIRED SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:
o Extensive experience and proficiency in Java and C#
o Extensive experience and proficiency in Oracle and SQLServer
o Extensive experience and proficiency in multi-system integrations
o Extensive experience and proficiency in JIRA, ADO, GitLab, and Visual Studio
o Extensive experience and proficiency in ETL, Autosys, Pub/Sub, XML, JSON, and RESTful Web Services
o Extensive experience and proficiency in SonarQube, Coverity, and NetSparker
o Effective, comprehensive communication skills, written and verbal
o Self-directed, Maintains a productive sense of urgency, makes progress on multiple priorities, and delivers as planned
o Constructively collaborates with teammates, business partners, and IT Infrastructure and Operation partners

EDUCATION:
Minimum of a Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study. (e.g. Bachelor and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience such as PhD, Master + 3 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

FULL TIME/FIRST SHIFT
WORK HOURS: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM HYB

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
