Chipton-Ross is seeking a Master Planning and Scheduling Analyst 4 or 5 for a contract opportunity in Melbourne, FL.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
This Master Planning and Scheduling Analyst position will, under general direction, prepare, develop and coordinate integrated master schedules to meet program and IPT objectives. Ensure major projects and program schedules and plans are horizontally and vertically integrated across company functional groups including finance, engineering, material, quality and manufacturing. Analyst will utilize Gantt, PERT milestone charts, earned value management and other project management techniques to gauge progress and identify performance variances to facilitate focus and intervention on critical areas. Tracks plans and schedules, performs risk analysis, identifies and resolves critical path as well as network logic conflicts. This position will also manage scheduling statement of work (SOW) while working with and leading associated scheduling analysts to ensure schedule and budget/forecast are consistent. They will analyze schedule for critical path, recognizing implications of changes and lead in the development and incorporation of work-around plans into the schedule when change is required. Proactively develop necessary reports and metrics to enable management decisions as necessary. Utilizes the Earned Value Management (EVM) system to analyze schedules for accuracy. Performs IPT Scheduling for complex program IMS in a large project and acts in a lead scheduling role for smaller projects. Provides integrated scheduling from proposal through execution phase of contract.

The ideal candidate will possess the following traits and abilities: ability to prepare, develop and coordinate the work breakdown structure, integrated master plan and integrated master schedule to meet all program objectives: mentor and lead more junior analysts in tracking plans and schedules, perform risk analysis, identify and resolve critical path and network logic conflicts: effectively develop and implement solutions of moderate scope and complexity; work under very general supervision while completing numerous assignments per schedule and elevating potential issues to ensure proper management focus; ability to create and present content to various levels of leadership; ability to efficiently work with multiple functional teams, supplier teams, and Program/Project Managers; exert some influence on peers and internal customers; and have good interpersonal skills while representing the group on special projects outside of own group. Analyst should have the ability to work effectively under pressure.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s degree with 10+ years of program planning and scheduling experience or Master’s degree with 8+ years of program planning and scheduling experience
Possess intermediate to advanced skills in MS Project and the detail development of an IMS
Full understanding of Earned Value Management (EVM) practices and the ability to support implementation on programs
Understanding of and experience with providing support to Integrated Product Teams (IPT)
Experience in developing and assisting in Schedule Risk Analyst (SRA)
Experience in new business proposal effort leading up to draft request for proposal to contract award
Experience in Integrated Baseline Review (IBR) and DCMA Joint Surveillance Reviews (JSRs)
Understanding of and the ability to conduct Schedule Risk Assessments

EDUCATION:
Bachelor's Degree.
School must be accredited.

HOURS:
5/40 work week.
