- Chipton-Ross is seeking a Mechanical Engineer II for a contract opportunity in Milwaukee, WI.
This position is 100% onsite.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
o Remediate drawings and specifications for purchased parts and identify the critical aspects of the part, including listing NTRL requirements
o Identify and remediation mechanical parts for quality improvements
o Update mechanical CAD drawings to implement corrections, add dimensions, inspection requirements, process details, etc.
o Align with sourcing and suppliers on changes made
o Support creation of receiving inspection documentation
o Document justification for changes to drawings
o Creation of engineering change request documentation
o Review assembly and identify critical dimensions
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
o CAD experience (CREO preferred)
o Experience with change control in a medical device company
o Prior SAP experience preferred (including DIRs, BOMs, Material Masters and ECRs)
EDUCATION:
Accredited Bachelor's degree with 5+ years' experience in mechanical engineering or equivalent or 7+ years' experience with Associate's degree

Full-Time
1st Shift
Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
