Description


Chipton-Ross is seeking 2 Product Repair/Modification Technician A''s for a contract opportunity in New Orleans, LA.

*This position is 100% ONSITE.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assists with disassembly of systems components to support the correction of failures or implement changes. Assists with basic troubleshooting of pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical systems to isolate mechanical or electrical faults and repair faulty components. Performs validation/verification testing of systems and components. Fabricates and modifies aerospace products according to specifications. Assists with performs tasks associated with the safe handling of a simple aerospace vehicle (e.g. jacking, towing, system operations). Works under supervision.

REQUIRED SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:
- Military fighter aircraft experience, minimum 3 years

DESIRED SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:
- F/A-18 aircraft experience
- A&P License (airframe and power plant)
- prior military certification and training for skillset
- military experience

EDUCATION:
Education/experience typically acquired through basic education (e.g. high school diploma/GED).

FULL TIME/FIRST SHIFT
WORK HOURS: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM

MISCELLANEOUS:
Applicants responding to this position will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements by currently possessing the ability to view classified government information.

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
