Description

Chipton-Ross is seeking a Fuel Cell Mechanic for a contract opportunity in Greenville, SC.

This position is 100% onsite.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Services water separators, checks meters for correct delivery and calibration, overhauls system components such as pressure regulating valves and excess valves, disassembles, adjusts, aligns, and calibrates gauges and meters or replaces them, removes and installs equipment such as filters and piping to modify system or repair and replace system component. Duties include: cleaning fuel tanks and distribution lines, removing corrosion and repainting surfaces, overhauling vacuum and pressure vents, floating roof seals, hangers, and roof sumps, and maintaining record of inspections and repairs
C-130 Fuel Cell entry, inspections, and maintenance. Need to be able to enter the opening of a C-130 fuel cell which is approximately 10" x 16".

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
Needs to be able to enter the opening of a C-130 Fuel Cell which is approximately 10" x 16".
No Tools Required
Confined Space experience
Fuel Cell experience, pulling foam, troubleshooting leaks and other issues.
C-130 experience a plus

EDUCATION:
Accredited HSD/GED

WORK HOURS:
Full-Time
4/10 work schedule
1st shift hours - between 5:30am and 4:30pm

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
