Chipton-Ross is seeking a Facilities Assistant/Maintenance Technician 1 for a contract opportunity in Culpeper, VA.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Lift 50lbs. climb ladders, work overtime as required, operate mowing equipment, chain saw, may be required to do painting
Skills: With some knowledge and experience in maintenance, works under the direction of a Lead Skilled Craftsman or Foreman to perform such duties as required to maintain the plant grounds. Also performs many general maintenance tasks such as moving furniture and equipment, repairing roads, digging ditches, painting, cutting grass, custodial service, etc. Performs these tasks with supervision, and is able to accomplish assignments with direction.
EDUCATION:
Accredited High School Diploma or GED.
Any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities may be substituted.
SHIFT:
4/10Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
