Chipton-Ross is seeking a Software Engineer 3 for a contract opportunity in Saint Louis, MO.
*This position is 100% ONSITE.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite in Saint Charles, MO. Saint Charles, MO is a thriving city located along the scenic Missouri River, just outside of bustling St. Louis. With its rich history, charming downtown area, and abundant outdoor recreational opportunities, Saint Charles offers a high quality of life for residents and visitors alike. The city is known for its warm hospitality, diverse culture, and strong sense of community. The surrounding area boasts a variety of parks, trails, and rivers for outdoor enthusiasts to explore, as well as numerous cultural attractions, shopping centers, and dining options. Saint Charles is a wonderful place to live, work, and play, offering a balance of urban conveniences and small-town charm.
Develops, documents and maintains architectures, requirements, algorithms, interfaces and designs for software systems. Develops and maintains code and integrates software components into a fully functional software system. Develops software verification plans, test procedures and test environments, executing the test procedures and documenting test results to ensure software system requirements are met. Performs software project management and software supplier management functions. Develops, selects, tailors and deploys software processes, tools and metrics. Executes and documents software research and development projects. Serves as a subject matter expert for software domains, system-specific issues, processes and regulations. Tracks and evaluates software team and supplier performance to ensure product and process conformance to project plans and industry standards. Works under general direction.
EDUCATION:
Minimum of a Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor's degree and typically 5 or more years' experience in an engineering classification or a Master's degree with typically 3 or more years' experience in an engineering classification or a PhD degree with experience in an engineering classification.). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
FULL TIME/FIRST SHIFT
WORK HOURS: 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
