Description


Chipton-Ross is seeking 3 (three) Assemblers for a contract opportunity in Courtland, AL.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Performs a variety of tasks ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive production assembly operations on mechanical assemblies and subassemblies such as modules, panels, and cables. Works from diagrams and drawings, makes initial layouts, and uses hand and/or power tools. Makes continuity checks on work in process and completed. May disassemble, modify, rework, reassemble, and test experimental or prototype assemblies and subassemblies according to specifications and under simulated conditions.

HARD REQUIREMENTS:
Required 2-3 years of mechanical production experience.

EDUCATION:
Accredited High School Diploma or GED.

SHIFT:
4/10-2nd Shift.

MISCELLANEOUS:
Applicants responding to this position will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements by currently possessing the ability to view classified government information.

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
