Chipton-Ross is seeking a R&D Specialist for a contract opportunity in Skaneateles, NY

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Working with the Sr. Specialist, you will receive supervision and daily tasking along with assisting in the support of the Front Line Care R&D Department and the R&D Financial Controller.
Some tasks include Invoice Request/payments with detailed tracking to ensure data integrity of each Invoice/payment. In addition, providing administrative support to the Sr. Specialist & R&D department as required.
You will be responsible for learning the project accounting process as a back up to the Sr. Specialist. This will entail maintaining data integrity by ensuring project hours and expenditures are captured and accurate on a timely basis. Ability to be proactive and interpret / troubleshoot complex situations at times. Able to assess and decipher less clearly defined issues.
o Support R&D department with quotes/invoice processing for PO's & payment via the company financial tool. This includes processing shopping carts for a needed PO and confirming invoices for timely payments. Maintaining this data integrity by ensuring invoices are paid timely and accurately is important.

o Manage the R&D SW Tool renewals and payments for FLC R&D.
o Provide general administrative and tactical support to team members as required.
o Acts with limited independence to follow-up on routine matters with team members; engages Project Manager and/or Functional Managers for non-routine issues.
o Utilizing your strong problem-solving skills, you will also be responsible for troubleshooting the systems and processes in place and identify solutions as issues arise.
o Establishes working relationship and credibility with all team members across the company.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
Proven analytical skills within a dynamic growing product development environment, advanced Excel, databases, and scripting experience is ideal. Previous experience with SAP Project Systems is desired but not required. You must have excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills and thrive in a team environment. The ideal candidate will possess organization skill, be detail oriented, customer centric, collaborative, and decisive. Must be a team player, reflecting high integrity as well as a strong work ethic.

EDUCATION:
Accredited Associates Degree or equivalent in business (Management, Information Technology)

Full-Time
1st Shift

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
