Chipton-Ross is seeking a MBSE Systems Engineer 3 for a contract opportunity in Huntsville, AL.
*This position is 100% ONSITE.
In this role, you will be a systems engineer using engineering methodologies in a digital engineering environment.
Develop system designs through Models Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools such as Cameo
Develop system design with knowledge of UAF and SysML
If hired, successful completion of training is a contingency for this assignment.
MBSE and architecture experience
Experience using Cameo, Rhapsody, or other similar modeling tools
Experience with Military or Missile Defense Agency (MDA) programs
Good verbal and written communication skills and must be able to work independently
GMD program experience
Requirements development experience
Agile development experience
Utilization of Digital Engineering environment
Strong problem-solving skills
Leadership experience of small teams
Brief completed work to stakeholders
Minimum of a Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
Possible Domestic travel
FULL TIME/FIRST SHIFT
WORK HOURS: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
